The main activity of Maardu Raudtee AS is the provision of freight transport services on the railway connecting terminals and warehouses in the Maardu region. The main types of transport are oil products, fertilizers, containers and other cargo.
Along with the delivery and cleaning of wagons to the loading and unloading fronts, Maardu Raudtee AS offers additional services for providing its tracks for parking empty wagons.
The company also holds a license for the construction, repair and maintenance of railways.
Maardu Raudtee AS owns a section of railway that runs from the territory of the former chemical plant to Maardu railway station. The length of Maardu Raudtee AS’s railways, excluding overhead branches, is 14 km.
